Blake Judd
The project features members of Nachtmystium, Leviathan, Dark Fortress and Vitandus.
Nachtmystium’s Blake Judd founded the band in 2003 as a side project whose original intention was to serve as an homage to bestial black/death metal bands such as Beherit, Von, Blasphemy, and the one and only Profanatica.
Judd reformed the band in 2012 with all new members and began writing and recording the group’s full-length CD in October 2012.
Now, Hate Meditation’s booked its first two shows, according to Judd.
On October 18, the band plays Chicago’s Cobra Lounge with other bands to be announced.
The next day, they’ll be in Louisville, Kentucky, for some festival that has not yet been announved.
Blake says he is “working on Indianapolis, IN for Sunday, October 20.”
Play Brooklyn, dude. We need you.
“Job Bos will be in town from Holland to record the 2nd full-length with us, so we’re going to play a handful of shows while he’s here as well,” says Judd. “I’ll announce more info about these shows and the Louisville fest as they come together.”
